Merrick, NY—Each year, the entire Centurion team works to out-do the year before. It’s a challenge, but once again the team has raised the bar and will deliver one of the most compelling shows ever. The subjects that will be covered by an all-star lineup of speakers range from topics as diverse as shoes to football to politics to sharks, and with more than 155 coveted brands and 37 service sponsors exhibiting, attendees will have a superlative experience all within one building. (For a complete list of exhibitors, scroll to the end of this article.)

Insightful and interesting, Centurion’s speakers for 2016 include some megawatt star power (former Indianapolis Colts/Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning, left is one), plus a special “Generations” track lineup, which will address changing demographics on both sides of the counter—customers and succession planning. In order of appearance, here’s who you’ll see at the 16th annual Centurion Show:

Speakers for the special "Generations" track include:

Kate Peterson, Performance Concepts, LLC: Generations: Both Sides of the Counter: Dealing with Perspectives from Matures to Post-Millennials

Bill Boyajian and Ira Bergman, The Gordon Co. (and Dan Pharr, Pharr Valuations on Monday Only): Generations: Planning for Store Succession

Jeffrey Roseman, CEO of David Harvey Jewelers, Norwalk, CT and Adjunct Professor, Fairfield University Dolan School of Business, Management Department, will moderate a special Generations panel discussion with Brian Alter, Alter’s Gem Jewelry; Ashley Daily Stegall and Ronda Daily, Bremer Jewelry; Bill Nusser and Charlie Nusser, Hands Jewelers; Lauren Kulchinsky Levison, Mayfair Jewelers; Jim Rosenheim and Matthew Rosenheim, Tiny Jewel Box.

Tony’s book, “Delivering Happiness”, was published in 2010, and outlines his path from starting a worm farm to life at Zappos. Tony shows how a very different kind of corporate culture is a powerful model for achieving success and happiness.
