Monica Rich Kosann Tapped To Do Estée Lauder Holiday Collection

New York, NY—Jewelry designer Monica Rich Kosann will be creating a 17-piece holiday jewelry collection in enamel and Swarovski crystal for legendary cosmetic brand Estee Lauder. The collection will be called Monica Rich Kosann For Estee Lauder and will tie into Kosann’s signature fine jewelry collection with personal, storytelling elements. Some of the pieces include an owl compact, an octopus compact with blue Swarovski crystal (left), and a lipstick-filled frog sitting atop a red enamel pillow.

Kosann said her goal was to create a line of makeup products that double as accessories. The line includes eight powder compacts, six solid perfume compacts, two lip gloss charm bracelets, and two lockets containing solid perfume. Kosann was instrumental in expanding the collection beyond compacts to include the lip products.

The collection is set to bow September 1 at global prestige retailers such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue. Prices range from $150 to $275.
