Costa Mesa, CA--Bulgari celebrated the opening of its newly expanded and relocated boutique at South Coast Plaza.

Per a report published in The Hollywood Reporter, the 5,000-square-foot flagship store, inspired by Roman architectural elements, features dedicated areas for men's watches, private shopping salons, and the first North American Bulgari Lounge—a café serving light refreshments.

"Through the interpretation and inspiration of the radiant city of Rome, the majesty and grandeur of the Eternal City, the design concept pays tribute to Rome's rich heritage with a new contemporary key," Agate Elie Parente, Director, Visual Merchandising at Bulgari, wrote on LinkedIn

During the grand opening, Herve Perrot, CEO of Bulgari North America, highlighted the store's significance. "I think there is a Bulgari before and a Bulgari after South Coast Plaza," Perrot said, per the report.

The event also showcased local art, with a commissioned piece titled "Fleeting Moments" by California artist Gena Milanesi, reflecting her Italian-Californian background.

Additionally, the boutique introduced the "California Journeys" capsule collection, which includes high jewelry and exclusive leather goods.

This opening is part of a broader expansion of luxury brands at South Coast Plaza, with upcoming larger storefronts from Cartier and Gucci.
