Retail News: Levinsons Host Dan Marino and Franck Muller; Don Lemp’s 100 Holes For Kids May 22, 2013 (0 comments)
Ft. Lauderdale, FL--Levinson Jewelers last Friday hosted an exclusive dinner party to honor legendary Swiss watchmaker Franck Muller, who was in South Florida to unveil his newest collections with a rare in-store appearance. VIP guests enjoyed cuisine by local restauaranteur Casa D’Angelo of Fort Lauderdale, alongside a special presentation and tasting of Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac and smooth sounds by a live saxophonist. Notables in attendance included Muller, Levinson Jewelers owners Mark and Robin Levinson, Miami Marlins’ Cliff Floyd and his wife Mary Ann, legendary football great and watch enthusiast Dan Marino, as well as former Miami Dolphin Sam Madison and wife Saskia Madison.
The next day, Marino hosted a special event at the store from noon to 3 p.m., where Muller unveiled his newest pieces. Guests were able to meet the watchmaker and nibble on cocktails and hors d’ouvres, while listening to local celebrity DJ1Tre.

Don Lemp Hits 100 Holes For Kids
Skaneateles, NY--26 dedicated golfers teed up at 6:00 a.m. on May 20 at Skaneateles Country Club for the 10th annual 100 Holes 4 Kids Golf Tournament. Twelve hours later, they finished playing 100 holes of golf in support of McMahon/Ryan Child Advocacy Center, raising more than $125,000. Jeweler Don Lemp of M. Lemp Jewelers in Syracuse, NY, was recognized in the organization's recent newsletter as the tournament founder and organizer, and for a decade of support and dedication to the event and the cause.
