New York, NY--Veranda magazine names four emerging jewelry design trends based on jewelry events in the U.S. and around the world this summer. The main inspirations being the Couture Show in Las Vegas held in June and the more recent unveilings of high jewelry collections in Paris. The biggest fall jewelry trends are as follows:

Riotous Color – The surprise factor in a few of these trends is that it is an expansion and a rejuvenation of traditional jewelry themes. For example, while color isn’t new in jewelry design, many jewelry designers created innovative new ways to present colored jewels.

Modern Rivières – Again, here is one of the most timeless designs in jewelry updated using multiple colors as well asymmetrical designs that push the boundaries of a classic rivières or tennis bracelet design

Art Deco Influences – Art Deco is one of the most ubiquitous creative periods for jewelry design and it remains so today. However, according to Veranda, designers are creating ways to celebrate this design practice while being original.

Curved Forms – According to Veranda, there was a “definite lean towards more voluminous and bent shapes in jewelry this market.” Curving silhouettes in rings, bracelets and cuffs were prevalent and are so flattering when worn.
