Augusta, GA--The Ancient Relics event was held at Windsor Fine Jewelers in Augusta, Georgia, on December 30, as per a report by The Augusta Chronicle.

The event featured European relics dating from the 10th century through the 1910s, many of which have been converted into jewelry, the report stated. Items on display included crosses, medals, religious artworks, and pendants incorporating historical iconography.
Relic owner Alexander Toulbou said the process focuses on preserving the history and sentimental value of the artifacts. "The idea is to keep the history and to have the sentimental value preserved for many generations," Toulbou said, per the report.
Toulbou said some pieces can take several months to complete after acquisition, depending on the work required.
