Arrests Made After Attempted Robbery of Jewelry Store July 25, 2025 (0 comments)

Sunnyvale, CA--Five suspects who were allegedly casing an area jewelry store in a stolen vehicle on were arrested following a police pursuit, authorities told KRON4 News.

The Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety responded at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday to the area of Lawrence Expressway and Highway 101 after being alerted to two stolen vehicles, KRON4 reports. Law enforcement notified nearby jewelry stores of suspicious activity due to recent jewelry store robberies involving stolen vehicles, the agency said.

One of the stolen vehicles was reportedly located 20 minutes later and Sunnyvale DPS officers attempted to stop the vehicle near El Camino Real and Wolfe Road. The vehicle fled, sparking a short pursuit, before five suspects got out and ran into the neighborhood near Fremont Avenue and Rembrandt Drive, authorities said.
