San Marino, CA--According to a report in the Pasadena Star News, Asanti Fine Jewellers has closed its doors and filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection. A letter signed by owner Nelson Holdo and posted outside the business blames the economy. Holdo also posted a letter, dated November 22, on the company's website.
