Barnes Diamonds and Designs Founders To Host Retirement Sale April 18, 2023 (0 comments)
Oconomowoc, WI--The founders of Barnes Diamonds and Designs, John Sr. and Corinne Barnes, are set to retire after 35 years. Their son, John Barnes Jr., will carry on the family legacy.
But before they go, they will thank you to the community through a retirement celebration sale, which begins Tuesday. Customers will receive up to 70% off the entire inventory, including luxurious watches, designer fashion jewelry, engagement rings and fine jewelry.
John Barnes Sr. started as a watchmaker back in the 1970s and later learned goldsmithing. He also became a Certified Gemologist Appraiser. In 1986, he and his wife, Corinne, started their small family business, which became an integral of the community. Their love for fine jewelry was passed to their sons, with John Barnes Jr. helping up front and his brother Joe doing the goldsmithing, designing, and benchwork. As the store will not be closing its doors for good, John Barnes Jr. is set to take over the business this summer. This transition will bring some exciting surprises, including new designer brands and fresh styles.
“We are so blessed to have an absolutely amazing team. While we’re truly a family store, all of our employees are like family,” the Barnes family said. “We cannot say thank you enough to our loyal customers for making the last 37 years so enjoyable. It has been a sincere joy to serve you all.”
