BILLY JOEL SINGS PRAISES FOR RYAN STAR, SET TO PERFORM AT CENTURION 2012 December 08, 2011 (0 comments)
Huntington, NY—Superstar singer Billy Joel recently had a lot to say about Ryan Star, the singing son of Dan Kulchinsky and brother of Lauren Kulchinsky Levison of Mayfair Jewelers. Star will be one of the musical performers at Centurion 2012 in Scottsdale.
Star opened for a performance of the Goo Goo Dolls at the Paramount Theater in Huntington. Billy Joel was at the performance and while he hadn’t heard of Star before, was really impressed with him after the show. “He’s got great stage presence, he’s got really good material, he’s got a good band, and he’s another Long Island guy,” Joel told a local paper. “This guy was jumping all over the room, hanging off balconies, and I thought, ‘Hey, I used to do [expletive] like that.’”
