Blakeman’s Fine Jewelry Honors Women-Led Brands on International Women’s Day March 10, 2025 (0 comments)

Rogers, AR--Blakeman's Fine Jewelry marked International Women's Day by spotlighting two women-led luxury jewelry brands, Goshwara and Gumuchian. According to Blakeman's announcement, the store is showcasing collections from these brands, which have been shaped by female leadership in a historically male-dominated industry.
Blakeman's post noted that Goshwara was founded by designer Sweta Jain, who launched the brand in 2005 to create "luxuriously fun" pieces.
"Goshwara" refers to a silhouette of perfect proportions, historically symbolizing femininity. Jain, who grew up surrounded by gemstones, describes her collection as a reflection of personal expression. "When I dress up, I wear jewelry to show how I feel at that moment," she stated, according to the post.
The jeweler also highlighted Gumuchian, a brand established in 1979 by Anita Gumuchian in New York City. Now led by her daughters, Myriam and Patricia Gumuchian, the company continues to produce handcrafted pieces using 18-karat gold, platinum, diamonds, pearls, and colored stones.
As per Blakeman's post, the brand's jewelry is now available in over 100 authorized retailers across the U.S., including Blakeman's.
