The Ike-It Award, established in 1992, honors former Borsheims owner Ike Friedman and is awarded annually to an employee demonstrating the company’s core values and commitment to customer service, according to Borsheims. This year marks the 33rd anniversary of the award.
Wolff, who joined Borsheims in 2012, comes from a family jewelry background. His grandfather and father owned Wolff Jewelers and Goldsmith in Iowa and Nebraska, where he worked from 1992 to 2001 as a goldsmith, sales associate, and manager. He later became a jeweler at Hostetter’s Jewelry in Omaha until its closure in 2012.
As per Borsheims’ report, Wolff is recognized for his craftsmanship and customer-focused approach. A notable project involved transforming a 1954 graduation watch into a bracelet while preserving its original engraving.
Colleagues praised his technical expertise, professionalism, and mentorship of new team members. According to Borsheims, nominations described him as a “good listener,” “great team player,” and someone who “steps up when people need help in the shop.”
Wolff lives in Blair, Nebraska, with his wife and two children.
