Huntington, CA--Several armed robbers were reported to have tried forcing their way into a jewelry store at Huntington Harbor Mall on Saturday afternoon.

According to a local news report, gunshots were exchanged between the owner of Isabella's Jewelry and the suspects. Nobody was reported shot, but a flying piece of glass cut a customer.

Per the report, the suspects fled northbound San Diego (405) Freeway in two vehicles, one of which crashed in nearby Los Alamitos, leading to the arrest of a boy. It wasn't clear if the group managed to steal any merchandise.
