“Billionaire Safe” On Exhibit at Charles Garnier in Las Vegas
Los Angeles, CA—Charles Garnier Paris is getting ready to bring a very large guest to the JCK Show in Las Vegas. It’s not exactly someone to meet, though: it’s a safe. Named the “Billionaire” safe, it’s inspired by the original vault door that was in Charles Garnier’s Paris atelier in 1901. It is being hand built in Europe by a specialized team, and the finished product will be more than 585 lbs and 60 inches tall, with a combination of a secret code and various locked drawers. Charles Garnier’s booth, PP49, in Prestige Promenade, will be the first place in the United States where the safe will be on exhibition.

Victor Suarez Named COO of Timeless Designs
New York, NY—Timeless Designs announces Victor Suarez is its new COO. Suarez, an expert jeweler familiar with just about every aspect of the production process, brings almost 30 years of experience with him into this role. He will oversee factory production and also help the firm reach the next level of success.
Coming to the United States from his native Cuba at the age of 23, Victor got his start in jewelry learning to set stones and began learning all the other facets of factory production. He eventually started his own jewelry production company, Set Tec, and helped four other companies build successful businesses, one of which went from 14 to 96 employees and became a $40 million dollar company within 10 years.
The father-son owners of Timeless Designs, Jacob and Bryan Cohen, also are a close-knit Cuban family that emigrated to the United States. Suarez easily bonded with the Cohens as many of their core values and goals were the same and his vision for Timeless Designs is to see it grow and succeed, keeping production domestic and continuing to give customers the high quality the company is known for.
Jade Trau To Make Debut at Prestige Promenade
New York, NY—Fine jewelry designer brand Jade Trau will be exhibiting for the first time in the Prestige Promenade Pavilion at JCK 2013 in Las Vegas. But for owners Jade and Barry Lustig, it’s a return trip to Sin City.
Jade’s grandfather, Solomon Trau of the legendary Trau diamond family in Europe, recognized her aptitude and interest and brought her in as an apprentice at the age of 18. In 1998, the sixth generation diamantaire officially joined her grandfather at S. Trau, the New York division of Trau Bros., a DTC Sightholder and Supplier of Choice.
Jade Trau Lustig had always been an avid vintage jewelry collector, and in 2011, Forevermark approached her about creating a collection that would gain significant exposure and reach, so she accepted and created Jade Trau, the jewelry division of the business. Her husband, Barry Lustig, a GIA- and AGS-certified gemologist and industry veteran, joined the company to oversee operations and sales, giving his wife the space to focus on designing her namesake line.

The Jade Trau aesthetic is clean lined to accentuate the intrinsic beauty of diamonds, with a contemporary interpretation of romantic femininity. The designs can stand alone or be layered with a woman’s full jewelry collection. The line is manufactured in the United States exclusively in 18k gold and platinum. Highlights include the signature bangle bracelets, solitaire pendants, station necklaces, stackable bands and bridal designs.
