Ritani Launches Bricks-And-Clicks Jeweler Network Into Canada With 12 Top Retailers

New York, NY—Ritani announces its launch into Canada today, executing new partnership agreements with 12 premium jewelers across the country. With these new partners, Ritani continues to expand its robust “clicks-and-bricks” network of jewelers offering the optimal way to shop for engagement rings and loose diamonds.

With Ritani's omni-channel approach to engagement ring shopping, customers begin their shopping experience online at Ritani.com, where they select and customize an engagement ring for direct purchase with free express shipping to home or office, or the ring can be sent for pickup at one of Ritani's partner jeweler locations.

This connection to the local jeweler redefines the jewelry shopping experience and provides additional service and comfort. Any Ritani purchase can be seen in person first at a trusted local jeweler, and if it isn't exactly what the customer wants, the jeweler will handle the return without any hassles or added expense.

"We are thrilled to be launching our clicks-and-bricks concept in Canada," said Brian Watkins, president of Ritani. "Our Canadian customers can now experience the most comfortable method of shopping for an engagement ring where they're totally in control of the experience."

New jewellers joining the affiliate network include the following (all have one location unless specified): Calgary Jewellery, Calgary, AB; Creative Goldsmiths, Langley, BC; Damiani Jewellers, Woodbridge, ON; Diamond Design, St. John's, NF; GemOro Goldsmith, Edmonton, AB; Heinrich's Jewellery, Saskatoon, SK; J.H. Young Jewellers, Brantford, ON; Knar Jewellery, with three locations in Toronto, Oakville, and Waterloo, ON; La Mine d'Or Jewellers, Moncton, NB; Nash Jewellers, London, ON; Rodan Jewellers, Burnaby, BC; and Victoria Jewellers, Regina, SK.

These jewelers join nearly 60 partners in the United States with more than 100 locations. The Ritani program was launched in October 2012.

"Partnering with Ritani allows us the opportunity to provide clients with the ultimate online diamond buying experience," said Jeff Buzbuzian, CEO of Knar Jewellery. "Ritani technology and our stores' passion for the finest in diamonds and customer service is sure to build happy customers for life."

All Ritani jeweler partners benefit from a fully integrated e-commerce solution with earned revenue from each online transaction at Ritani.com, increased lead generation, and a vastly expanded customer base. Affiliates also receive additional Ritani assets for their in-store and online use in order to fully integrate and deliver the clicks-and-bricks experience.

Ritani will continue to make meaningful and substantial investments in emerging mobile, imaging, and e-commerce technologies, says a company spokesperson.

Frédérique Constant, Türler Uhren & Juwelen Support Swiss Heart Organizations

Geneva Switzerland—The “Hearts of Children” charity gala dinner, held August 27 in Zurich, Switzerland, hosted 60 guests who turned out to support the Swiss Heart Foundation at the invitation of Messrs Türler, directors of Türler Uhren & Juwelen, and Peter and Aletta Stas, founders and directors of Frédérique Constant.

The World Heart Federation is dedicated to working with national heart foundations, such as the Swiss Heart Foundation in Switzerland, in the fight against heart disease and strokes as the leading causes of death worldwide. Swiss watch brand Frédérique Constant has been working since 2009 alongside charitable organizations involved in the fight against heart disease.

The brand is currently supporting the World Heart Federation’s “Hearts of Children” international awareness-raising campaign, focused on preventing cardiovascular disease in women and children.

In order to support the project locally, Frédérique Constant organized a charity gala in conjunction with renowned Zurich watchmaking specialists Türler Uhren & Juwelen. It was held at the Savoy Hotel Baur en Ville in Zurich.

Franz Türler, owner of Türler Uhren & Juwelen, reminded guests that the premature loss of loved ones due to cardiovascular disease is something that can strike anyone, which is why he felt it vital to support Peter and Aletta Stas in their commitment to the initiative. The World Heart Federation was represented by CEO Johanna Ralston and the Swiss Heart Foundation by its president, Prof. Ludwig von Segesser, director of cardiovascular research at Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), together with their managing director, Therese Junker.

Aletta Stas, founder and COO of Frédérique Constant, said, “We are delighted to have organized this charity gala dinner for the Swiss Heart Foundation. We are also happy that we have been able to raise awareness among couples and families concerning this important and relevant topic. It should be understood that most risk factors are behaviorally influenced. Heart attacks and strokes are the leading causes of death in Switzerland and the main reason for non-congenital disability. If, through this event and other events we have co-organized around the world, we can contribute to a greater recognition among our guests of the importance of a healthy lifestyle for the cardiovascular system, we will be more than satisfied.”

Executives from Frédérique Constant, Türler Uhren & Juwele, the Swiss Heart Foundation and the World Heart Federation aim to give more hope and shared time to the families affected.
