Doves Announces Las Vegas Celebrity Experience
Great Neck, NY—Doves by Doron Paloma will debut its Vegas Celebrity Experience event at the Luxury and JCK shows. Retailers who visit the Doves booth (LUX #121 at Mandalay Bay) can have an interactive, red carpet inspired experience while viewing Doves’ newest collections.
The jeweler also is offering a $35 American Express gift card to any retailer who makes an appointment, with no purchase necessary.
Doves, in a new larger booth, will debut its newest collections, Amazonite and St. Tropez, along with new styles from its best-selling Viola and Ivory Sky lines, as well as a heavily expanded diamond fashion line.
“We’re excited to share our trend-setting collections with retailers, and debut an interactive experience that puts them right on the ‘red carpet’,” says Doron Paloma Hakimian, president and chief designer of Doves by Doron Paloma.

Warren Buffett Sells Tara Pearls At Berkshire Hathaway Event
Omaha, NE—For the past four years, famed financier Warren Buffett has taken his turn behind the sales counter at Borsheims during Berkshire Hathaway's annual shareholder meeting weekend. Customers love to be waited on by him, as much for his charming personality—Buffett does have natural sales ability—as for his famous "Crazy Warren" prices, which offer a discount on top of the special Berkshire Hathaway shareholder discounts on Borsheims Shopping Day. This year, Buffett even was in on the secret for one of his shareholders to propose to his girlfriend at the diamond counter.
But Buffett's sales acumen isn't limited to diamonds. The Luxury Salon at Borsheims is a special stationed-off area of the store where shareholders can view one of a kind jewelry during the event, and Buffett spent some time selling Tara pearls there. Rahaminov To Unveil Special Collection Of Exquisite And Rare Jewels In Las Vegas

Sethi Couture Redefines Its Brand Messaging To Reflect The Special Moments of Every Day
San Francisco, CA—Sethi Couture announces the launch of its new brand manifesto. Known for delicate and vintage-inspired designs using natural color diamonds and unique cuts such as rose, old mine and briolette, both designer Pratima Sethi and creative director Prerna Sethi wanted to redefine their brand's story to have a stronger emotional connection with the consumer.

The Knot, WR Cobb, and LearLabs To Demo Customer Lead-Retrieval System at JCK
East Providence, RI—WR Cobb Online and LearLabs, creator of the LearLite 3.0 tool, have partnered together to bring the LearLite 3.0 to the jewelry industry. Through a special program with The Knot Wedding Network, jewelers can experience the system firsthand in Las Vegas. The “Bling Cam,” using the LearLite system, will be featured at The Knot’s booth throughout the JCK Show.
The feature will emulate an entertainment feature known as a “ring-cam” or “mani-cam,” made popular in recent years by Hollywood red carpet events. The camera setup allows the user to show their personal rings, jewelry, and accessories, engaging audience participants in a fun and interactive way.
Currently being used by jewelers across the United States, the LearLite system provides versatile lead-retrieval solutions for independent jewelers, with the vision of turning shoppers into customers, while giving retailers the ability to collect shoppers’ highly valuable contact information. WR Cobb’s Jay Gerber says, “The LearLite system is significant for giving shoppers the ability to take pictures of products they’re interested in and then share them with their influencers.”
With the “Bling Cam” setup, the images and live feed from the LearLite tool will be displayed on a TV monitor, just above the podium for show browsers to see and understand how the system works.

Ritmo Mundo Supports LA Charity Events
Los Angeles, CA—For 12 years, watchmaker Ritmo Mundo has participated in important causes in both its local community and globally.
On May 2, Ritmo Mundo joined forces with Nancy Davis and her Race to Erase Foundation to raise funds and awareness of Multiple Sclerosis. Rock legend Steven Tyler entertained the 1000+ celebrity and VIP guests at the 21st annual gala.
The Race to Erase MS was founded by Los Angeles philanthropist Nancy Davis in 1993 after she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. "When we started 21 years ago, there was nothing. Today there are nine drugs on the market. There are so many types of MS; some that are curable and others that are harder, but we’re in a really different place now. I keep getting all these letters from people whose lives have changed, and it’s such a crazy, awesome feeling. It keeps me wanting to do this even though it’s chaotic," Davis said.
Separately, on May 12, Ritmo Mundo was part of the Los Angeles Entertainment and Sports Commission’s 15th annual golf event honoring LA Lakers legend James Worthy. Founded in 1995, the mission of the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission (LASEC) is to seek, host, promote, and retain major sporting and entertainment events that positively impact the local economy. Victoria Tse Launches V.Tse In Las Vegas
Pasadena, CA—Victoria Tse announces the launch of, V.Tse, a branded design house and manufacturer of precious jewelry collections. The premiere line is set to debut at Elite Enclave during JCK Las Vegas, May 27–June 2. Tse is founder, CEO, and creative director.
The company is comprised of a team of more than 40 jewelry artisans. Tse herself was co-founder and former chief operating officer of the Christian Tse Corporation, and for nearly two decades, instrumental in building the award-winning diamond and gemstone company into one of the industry’s leading luxury brands by forming strategic alliances with top retail partners, and international auction houses.

“This is a whole new brand and journey for me,” says Victoria, ”V.Tse is focused on creating classic, beautifully crafted jewelry featuring whimsical and lurid color palettes in lots of purples, yellows, and blues.”
The V.Tse collection is designed and crafted in Pasadena, CA, and features colorful precious and semi-precious gemstones with diamond accents in platinum and 18K yellow, white, and rose gold. The collection includes necklaces, rings, bracelets, and earrings retailing from $5,000 to more than $25,000.
The V.Tse website and marketing campaigns are set to launch in the fall of 2014, and goods will be available for purchase at select luxury retailers in the summer season 2014.
Joshua J Welcomes Jerry Fehr
