Furrer Jacot Celebrates 155 Years In Business

Schaffhausen, Switzerland—Walter Hausermann, chairman and CEO of Swiss wedding band manufacturer Furrer Jacot, has written a blog about the company’s 155-year milestone and the painstaking manufacturing traditions handed down from generation to generation of the company. The company still has all its original design books, writes Hausermann, and it still proudly blends artisanal handcrafting combined with innovative technology to produce its bands—one ring at a time, all still 100% made in the canton of Schaffhausen.

Charles Garnier Paris Introduces The Spike Collection

Los Angeles, CA--Charles Garnier Paris introduces the Spike Collection, a new collection of haute-punk inspired sterling silver jewelry. Punk-inspired spikes are on virtually every category of clothing from shoes and jackets to accessories like handbags and eyewear, and celebrities of all ages are drawn to the look. The Spike Collection takes this defiant look and fuses it with classical style for the fine jewelry market. A bracelet from the collection is shown at the top of this page and a pair of dangle earrings are shown here:

The new collection features high polished four-sided pyramid-shaped studs over a base of Charles Garnier Paris’ unique Constellation finish.  The studs are carefully handcrafted, with rounded edges and tips for safe wear. The designs offer a stylish combination of classic and punk, creating a sophisticated yet timeless look: playful for daytime use and refined for nighttime fun. Available in rhodium, 18k yellow gold, or 18k rose gold finishes over sterling silver, the collection features earrings, necklaces, bangles, and rings, all named for women entertainers known for their independence of style. Artists like Beyoncé, Shania, and Avril are represented with fitting styles.

“Charles Garnier prides itself on our ability to bring new collections quickly to the market,” says sales manager Julie Franco.
