Leo Schachter Taps Joseph Green For EVP of Sales

New York, NY--Joseph Green has been named executive vice president of sales for Leo Schachter Diamonds LLC. In this role, Green is responsible for directing go-to-market planning and strategic business development for the independent channel.

Green joins Leo Schachter following an eight-year tenure as senior vice president of Frederick Goldman. He also served as vice president of Ritani.

Mi9 Retail Acquires ASC; Forms New Retail Software Jewelry Group

Miami, FL—Mi9 Retail, provider of retail merchandising, business intelligence and customer-centric store solutions, has acquired Applications Systems Corporation (ASC), a respected name with a wealth of experience developing software solutions for leading independent and multi-store jewelers. The addition of ASC will serve as the cornerstone of a new group devoted exclusively to jewelry retailers.

ASC's customers will join Mi9 Retail's existing set of jewelry customers. Barry Kraft, ASC’s executive vice president, will lead the Mi9 Retail Jewelry Group as general manager.
