New York, NY—Newly engaged celebrity couple Julie Benz and Rich Orosco celebrated their commitment with a Kwiat engagement ring, left. Orosco presented the actress with a handmade platinum and diamond ring, featuring a cushion-cut center in the signature Kwiat floating basket setting with a pave diamond frame. The band includes a milgrain edge with hand engraving.
East Hampton, NY—Condolences to the Kulchinsky family, owners of Mayfair Diamonds and Fine Jewelry, on the passing of patriarch Seymour Kulchinsky. He was 83. The family’s retail jewelry business was founded in 1927, the same year as Seymour Kulchinsky’s birth. He and his wife, Shirley, later relocated the business to Long Island and named it Mayfair. He would have turned 84 on July 28.

The event was designed to raise funds for key charities; this year's event benefits the Southampton Day Care Center, the only nonprofit provider of day care and pre-school services for children in the area.
