LKI Hosts Worldwide Competition

New York, NY—Lazare Kaplan International Inc. (LKI) sponsored a pre-holiday contest with Lazare retailers around the world, dovetailing with the launch of its “You Just Know” campaign. Select Lazare retail partners from the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan and other countries hosted a Lazare “You Just Know™” contest and trunk show at the exact same time.

Consumers were asked to explain the characteristics of an ideal cut Lazare Diamond and to write an essay for a chance to win a Lazare Diamond Pendant. Their essay was to describe when “they just knew” their wife, husband, fiancé, girlfriend, or boyfriend was “the one.” One winner was selected in each of the Lazare participating retailers, and announced during the Lazare trunk show event October 26, 2012.

Marcee Feinberg, vice president of LKI attended the event  at Geoffrey’s Jewelers in San Carlos, CA.  “The store was buzzing with consumers, and it was priceless to see the smile on Barbara H.’s face when Nikko Kandhari, owner of Geoffrey’s, presented her with the Lazare pendant,” said Feinberg. Charlie Rosario, senior vice president of LKI, visited Liljenquist & Beckstead Jewelers in Fairfax, Virginia where the store was buzzing with excitement, and Rogelio Carranza of Carranza y Carranza in Monterrey, Mexico, said, “We received many entries, all of them fantastic.  It was hard to choose but the winner is Jorge de la Maza and we congratulate him!”

There were many other winners at participating retailers from across the United States: in Jacksonville, FL; Albany, NY; San Francisco, CA; Duluth, MN; Boston, MA; and Dallas, TX, among others.

Stuller, World Trade Jewelers announce Sweethearts Jewelry Collection

Lafayette, LA—Stuller announces the next phase in its rollout of iconic brand jewelry with the newly created trademarked Sweethearts Jewelry Collection, launched in strategic partnership with licensor World Trade Jewelers (WTJ).

“Sweethearts candy jewelry may be the ultimate heart jewelry collection,” says James Louviere, director of symbolic and licensed jewelry at Stuller. A-list celebrities already are tweeting, sharing, and wearing the product, he said.

Stuller’s brand partnership with World Trade Jewelers began last year with the launch of trademarked HERSHEY’S Kisses jewelry when WTJ named the Stuller as the exclusive distributor into the independent jewelry market. A similar distribution arrangement now exists with this newest brand.

Established more than 165 years ago, Sweethearts candies are the unmistakable, pastel-colored hearts, known for playful words and messages, such as Angel, Be Mine, BFF, Forever, and other endearing sayings. The collection is available in rings, bracelets, pendants and earrings in a variety of sizes and colors. WTJ president Murray Shabot says this isn’t just another heart jewelry line, it’s “the” heart jewelry line.

Sweethearts silver and enamel jewelry immortalizes the heart candy we all enjoyed as children.

“This jewelry instantly associates your product and your store with the delightful memories your customers have of special moments shared with loved ones,” Shabot said.

To mirror the popular candy, the signature conversation hearts are created in sterling silver with colorful enamels. Each piece comes complete in branded packaging, and with eye-catching store displays also available. Product price points are between $69 and $199 retail, making it a great stocking stuffer or the perfect Valentine’s Day gift, says Stuller’s Louviere.

To support the line, WTJ launched a full advertising, public relations, and social media campaign, which began November 3. For more information, visit stuller.com/sweethearts or call (800) 877-7777.
