Miseno Blasts Global Debut; Positions For U.S. Growth With Top Sales Team

Matawan, NJ--Coming off a solid debut at Couture in Las Vegas earlier this month, Italian jewelry brand Miseno is set to exceed first year forecasts in the United States. The brand, influenced and inspired by the heritage of founder Antonio Cardamuro’s Italian hometown, features fine jewelry in 18K white and yellow gold, accented with diamonds and precious gemstones. Sun Ray cuff is shown left.

To support the continued growth and development nationwide, Miseno has appointed a U.S. sales team, comprised of seasoned luxury jewelry veterans Manuel Martin, Northeast sales director, formerly with Valente Milano and Utopia Jewels; Ruth Lahey, Southeast sales director, formerly with Piaget and Bedat & Co.; Heidi Cook, Midwest sales director, most recently with Bovet; and Don Santander, West Coast sales director, formerly with Neiman Marcus, Henry Dunay, and Elizabeth Locke.

Miseno is available through an exclusive network of independent retailers nationwide, in addition to select Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue stores. Miseno will be exhibiting at JCK’s LUXURY Privé in New York City from July 26-28;, Centurion South Beach at the Ritz Carlton South Beach, October 14-16.

 

Stuller Names New Vice President Of Sales

Lafayette, LA—Gary Davis has joined Stuller as the firm’s new vice president of sales. He takes over the role previously held by Robert “Bob” Cox, who has retired after 12 years with Stuller and four decades in both retailing and manufacturing in the jewelry industry.

“We owe a great deal to Bob for his dedication and appreciation for the independent retail jeweler and the jewelry industry,” says Stuller president Danny Clark. “His insightful advice, industry expertise, and unforgettable personality will certainly be missed.”  

Davis, a Georgia native, brings 20+ years of experience in leadership and problem solving in marketing, business development, sales management, and operations to Stuller’s sales team. Immediately prior to joining Stuller, Davis served as vice president of business development at QSpex Technologies, Inc.

“Gary comes to Stuller with an impressive mix of experience,” says Clark. “We’re excited to see how his experience and fresh perspective contribute to the initiatives we’re currently working on and future opportunities.”

Jewelers’ Mutual Names New SVP

Neenah, WI—Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company has named Mike Alexander as senior vice president of commercial lines, overseeing all aspects of commercial lines operations and sales.

Prior to his role at Jewelers Mutual, Alexander was the senior vice president of national sales and strategy at National General Insurance (formerly GMAC Insurance) in Winston Salem, NC. His responsibilities included overseeing a variety of property and casualty products, including auto, property, flood, and commercial vehicle. He also held roles as divisional vice president of product management, general manager of agency product and pricing, and senior product manager.
