Officina Del Tempo Introduces Three New Collections

Germantown, MD—Divino, distributor of Officina Del Tempo watches, announces three new collections: the “Business Chrono” and “Racing Chrono” for men, and the “Vanity” for women.

The “Business Chrono” collection includes eight different value-priced models of 46-mm watches, crafted in stainless steel with brushed and polished finishes. Style options include leather or gel straps, with white dials, black dials, or blue dials. Produced in Italy, the Business Chrono series is water resistant to 10 atm and uses Swiss-made Ronda 5030D quartz movements with date indication between 4:00 and 5:00 Leather strap versions retail for $765; gel strap models in the low $700’s.

Officina Del Tempo’s Racing Chrono Gel, Ref. OT1051, was the brand’s first sport watch, left. It uses the Swiss-Made Ronda Caliber 5030B in a highly complex case construction. Essentially four main screws hold all 40 parts together at 10 atm water resistance. The Racing Chrono comes in black or steel. With a gel strap, it retails for $895 in steel or $925 in black; leather strap models retail for $975 in either color.

The Racing Chrono has an ingenious design where four screws, bottom, hold all 40 parts of its case together.

Officina Del Tempo also introduces “Vanity,” its first collection for women, featuring nearly two dozen models. Each has a colorful crystal bezel. Vanity’s 36.5 mm cases are crafted in stainless steel with colorful crystal accents, and some feature natural mother-of-pearl dials. Gel straps feature an etched floral pattern in the gel material; or leather straps are available in black, chocolate, or white, with a faux crocodile finish. Vanity timepieces house Myota  3H1M12 quartz calibers and are water resistant to 10ATM. The collection retails from $580 to $620.

All Officina Del Tempo watches carry a “made-in-Italy” engraving, a serial number laser engraving, and are backed by a two-year warranty. They are distributed in the United States, Canada and the Caribbean by Divino, Germantown, MD.

Fine Silver Jewelry, Home Accessories Featured at Prestige Horse Show Series

Saugerties, NY—American Estate Jewelry will showcase horse-inspired luxury sterling jewelry and home items by Galmer Fine Silver at HITS-on-the-Hudson, a renowned international hunter/jumper horse show series running throughout the summer in the Hudson Valley area of New York State. Currently sold via its website and through select fine jewelry stores, the American Estate collection will sell as part of The Art House exhibition, curated by Jim O’Donnell.

The sterling jewelry line—which includes such items as The Horsewoman Cuff, below left, made its debut at the HITS weekend of June 6 through June 10 and will continue each weekend through to the final HITS Championship Weekend beginning August 29, 2012. The HITS collection, all handmade by Galmer Fine Silver, also includes horse-themed items for the home, such as this mint julep cup, right, developed by Michael Izrael Galmer, himself an enthusiastic rider.

Galmer created the 2012 Preakness Trophy, valued at $30,000, which was presented to the I'll Have Another team at the close of that race in mid-May. Galmer's goblets, mint julep cups, wine coasters and napkin rings depict stately horses in sterling repousse. He is one of a few silver artisans using the rare repousse' (pushed from the back) technique.

American Estate Jewelry pays tribute to the tradition of passing distinctive sterling jewelry from generation to generation, and the name also represents America's silver-making tradition.
