BRAND AND INDUSTRY NEWS: RIHANNA WEARS HELLMUTH; LUXURY PRIVE SUCCESSFUL July 31, 2011 (1 comment)
BURBANK, CA—The Abbiamo Group LLC announced it has signed a multi-year agreement with Gert Hellmuth GmbH of Pforzheim, Germany, to handles sales in North America for the fine jewelry brand Hellmuth, effective July 1. Michael Pucci, founder of the Abbiamo Group, and his company will be responsible for building sales of the brand and developing all marketing and advertising programs for Hellmuth Jewelry here.
“We are thrilled to add Hellmuth Fine Jewelry to our portfolio of jewelry, watches and fashion accessories,” says Pucci, who brings more than 26 years of experience to the brand. “Gert Hellmuth is a world leader in the 18K gold category, and we are already at work repositioning his well established brand in the North American marketplace.”
Pucci was responsible for the successful U.S. launches of Rosato/Calgaro and Rebecca Jewelry, the Italian fashion brand known for its stainless steel and bronze collection. Earlier this year, Pucci joined forces with the Isharya, another fashion jewelry brand.
Hellmuth was founded in 1983 by Gert Hellmuth and makes a wide variety of designs including large statement pieces, many of which incorporate crocodile patterns. Hellmuth has become a favorite with celebrities, stylists and editors.

New York, NY—LUXURY Prive, the new ultra-high-end show launched by Reed Exhibitions/JCK Events, was declared a success by show organizers. 42 exhibitors and 169 retail stores attended the invitation-only event at the Pierre Hotel July 26-28. Yancy Weinrich, industry vice president for JCK Events, said the reaction from attendees proved the timing and location were right for the event, which both introduced some new launches and served as an opportunity to follow up from the JCK Show in Las Vegas.
