Stuller Acquires B&D Sales                         

Lafayette, LA—Stuller Inc. has acquired B&D Sales Corporation, a laser welder and engraver company based in in Cranston, RI. (At left, one of B&D's EVO line of desktop laser welders.)

“We are thrilled to be adding additional equipment and service options to our existing selection,” says Tammy Lail, Stuller vice president of tools and supplies. “Customers will be able to purchase the machine that fits not only their budget, but the needs of their business as well.”

The partnership will offer Stuller and B&D Sales customers expanded offerings of both laser welders (i.e. Rofin, Orotig) and engravers and cutters (i.e. BestBuilt, Fiberscan).

“Like Stuller, B&D Sales puts a huge focus on their customers’ success with its business model,” says Danny Clark, president of Stuller. “Partnering with the B&D team will allow us to expand our product line, broaden our equipment services, and meet our customers’ evolving needs.”

 

Citizen Watch America Announces Key Promotions in Marketing And Merchandising

New York, NY—Citizen Watch America has promoted Ellen Seckler to chief marketing officer and Susan Chandler to chief merchandising officer. Seckler will oversee the respective marketing departments for all brands under the Citizen Watch America umbrella: Citizen, Bulova, Frederique Constant, Alpina, and Ateliers deMonaco; Chandler will all direct merchandising efforts and product development for the Citizen and Bulova brands.

Seckler is a 30-year marketing executive who has worked for some of the industry’s largest watch groups. She began her career at North American Watch and the Movado Group, and had successful stints at Gucci Group and Swatch Group. She came to Citizen in February 2012 as the integrated marketing director and most recently held the position of executive vice president of marketing. Since joining Citizen, Seckler led the brand’s growth into digital with the evolution of its web platform and launch of its e-commerce site, and increased market share.

“Ellen has been an integral part of the growth of the Citizen Watch brand and it’s with great pride that we announce her advancement to oversee the marketing initiatives for all Citizen Watch America brands,” said Jeffrey Cohen, president.

Each brand’s marketing will continue to build on their distinctive identities in the market with unique, differentiated advertising, marketing, and brand campaigns.
