Bromberg’s Undergoes Renovation at Mountain Brook Store March 01, 2026 (0 comments)
Mountain Brook, AL--Bromberg's is currently renovating its 67-year-old building in Mountain Brook Village. The project will nearly double the retail space while maintaining the original 1959 mid-century modern architectural shell. The store will remain open with standard operating hours during the construction, which is expected to conclude in early 2027.

According to a report by Bham Now, the expansion includes extending the footprint into the adjacent building to create a new entrance. The updated facility will feature a larger showroom, a custom design center, an Authorized Rolex Service Center, and a dedicated space for giftware, fine china, and home decor called Bromberg Galleries.
The architectural work is being led by Henry Sprott Long and Associates, the Birmingham firm responsible for the original building design and subsequent renovations, as noted in the report.
"We do this (renovation) about once a generation and we've had several of them over the course of time since 1959 when the store was built. But this one is the biggest of all," said Ricky Bromberg, President of Bromberg’s, as noted in the article.
