Style Expert Michael O’connor To Host New TV Series

New York, NY—Michael O’Connor, left, a longtime jewelry expert and style commentator, is the host of a brand-new television series called MovieStyle with Michael O’Connor. The series, a documentary-style look at how influential styles in movies become fashion trends in pop culture, will air on Reelz Channel, part of most basic cable TV packages.

The program premiers Saturday, September 15, at 10 p.m. Pacific time. Encore presentations will air through Thursday, September 20, with three showings on Sunday, September 16. The premier episode will look at the glamorous fashions of World War II-era movies, and how those classic styles have influenced both fashion and costuming for later films set in the period.

O’Connor is a 25-year veteran of the jewelry industry. He has worked in marketing, public relations, and education, with firms such as Frederick Goldman, Goldstein Communications, and Platinum Guild International. He also is a frequent guest on QVC, and has offered red carpet style commentary for Reelz, Reuters Television, and E!. He also styles Hollywood celebrities with jewelry for red carpet events.
