Kelly Osbourne Attends Couture Show Wearing Palladium Jewelry; Exclusive Video Interview!

Las Vegas, NV—Kelly Osbourne, the lavender-haired star of TV’s The Fashion Police, met with designers, retailers, and fans at Palladium Alliance International’s booth at the Couture Show at the Wynn Resort and Casino. The star wore a Jonathan Simkhai skirt, striped top, and Giuseppe Zanotti heels, paired with palladium earrings by Jacob & Co.

The fashion expert says the metal is her go-to because of its light weight. “I’m a tomboy and I move around a lot, so I need jewelry that moves too. I love big earrings, but I don’t want huge holes in my ears, so if I’m wearing big earrings, they’ve got to be palladium!”

Osbourne perused palladium jewelry from Todd Reed and Brian Sholdt, but what caught her eye most was a palladium spider brooch by Alishan. An avowed arachnophobe, Osbourne put aside her fear and decided to wear Alishan’s spider to the Miss USA Pageant, where she will be a judge this weekend.

Harry Hamlin, Lisa Rinna Light Up Le Vian's Red Carpet Revue

Las Vegas, NV--Actors Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna made a special guest appearance at Le Vian's annual Red Carpet Revue, held Sunday, June 3 in Las Vegas. The annual fashion show and trend forecast was sponsored by Harper's Bazaar magazine, and the catwalk show was narrated by its fashion and accessories editor.

The color trends highlighted for this year include: "Honey Do," using Le Vian's trademarked Honey Gold; "Neon Elegance," featuring vivid fire opal and Paraiba tourmaline; "Soothing Pastels," featuring Le Vian's trademarked Cottton Candy Amethyst and Sea Blue Aquamarine in fashion and bridal jewelry, and the firm's new bridal line featuring Sunny Yellow, Pink Orchid, and Sky Blue branded diamonds.

Another trend was "Midnight Berries," featuring Le Vian's trademarked Blackberry and Blueberry Diamonds, as well as Blueberry Tanzanite. "Black Tie" featured black and white diamonds, and "Eye Candy" featured brilliant mixes of colored gemstones. Design trends highlighted by the firm include waves, buckles, framed clusters, and animal prints. In watches, Eddie Le Vian, president of the firm, highlighted complications, rose gold, sport styles, his signature Chocolate Diamonds, and animal motifs, which he calls "Wild Time." 

The firm also introduced a line of bridal jewelry, with trends including detailing on the ring profile, Chocolate and other color diamond engagement rings, and fashion-forward engagement rings.

Separately, actress Crystal Reed (below) wore Le Vian earrings at the 2012 MTV Music Awards, held June 3 in Universal City, CA.
