Erica Courtney Seen on Red Carpet and Glossy Pages
Los Angeles, CA—Designer Erica Courtney just keeps racking up celebrity devotees! MTV's "Teen Wolf" actress Crystal Reed wore the designer’s 18k gold and diamond “Jasmine” earrings to apparel maker Max Mara’s cocktail party in honor of Chloe Moretz, who is the 2012 Women In Film’s “Face Of The Future.” In addition to her earrings, Reed wore Courtney’s 18k gold and diamond fire opal Empress ring.
Separately, castmates Kesha Nichols and Royce Reed both wore Courtney’s jewelry on VH1's "Basketball Wives: The Reunion" show. Nichols wore 18k gold and diamond coral turquoise drop earrings, and Reed wore Courtney’s 18k gold and diamond citrine “Naomi” ring.

Le Vian Gets Multiple Celebrity Placements
Great Neck, NY—Le Vian jewelry was the accessory of choice for four popular celebrities attending recent red carpet events.
Julianne Hough wore Le Vian jewelry to the Guy’s Choice Awards on June 2, and again chose a Le Vian cocktail ring to wear to the New York City preview screening of “Rock of Ages” on June 6.

Below left, Sofia Vergara was spotted in Le Vian trademarked Strawberry Gold earrings with rhodolite, tourmaline, and Vanilla diamonds and in New York on June 4. Anonymous Bidder Pays $3.5 Million For Lunch With Warren Buffett
Omaha, NE--One very deep-pocketed but anonymous bidder has paid nearly $3.5 million last Friday for the opportunity to have lunch with billionaire investor Warren Buffett, at New York's famed Smith & Wollensky steakhouse.
According to this article on CBSNews.com, Buffett has put himself on the auction block every year to benefit the Glide Foundation, an organization that helps the homeless in San Francisco. This year's haul was the highest price ever paid for the privilege; Buffett has in the past raised more than $11.5 million for the charity in 13 auctions.
The financier--who owns jewelers Borsheim's, Helzberg's, and Ben Bridge, and supplier Richline--is a strong believer in philanthropy and has been gradually giving away his fortune to charity. He also has urged his billionaire peers to do the same. Winners of his lunch bid rarely want to talk about investments over the meal, says the article, preferring to talk about family and charity, and usually the lunches last far longer than the appointed time set in the auction.
The article didn't say who actually picks up the lunch tab--Buffett or the guest--but the restaurant also donates $10,000 annually to the Glide Foundation for the honor of hosting the meal.
