PAI Presents "This is 40," With Pop-Up Shop At After-Party
Los Angeles, CA—With some of Hollywood’s most attractive leading ladies—such as Leslie Mann, Cameron Diaz, Jennifer Garner, Amanda Peet & Gabrielle Union—all celebrating their 40th birthdays recently, middle age is glamorous indeed. And Palladium Alliance International is helping to amp up the glam factor.
This is 40, the latest from filmmaker Judd Apatow—renowned for documenting angst at nearly every stage of life—is set to release this weekend. The film, a semi-sequel to his smash hit Knocked-Up, follows the characters of Pete and Debbie (played by Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, Apatow's real-life wife) who are both on the brink of their 40th birthdays. It documents the trials and tribulations of embarking into middle age.
Mann’s character is a strong, sexy, tough shop owner. Palladium Alliance International crafted a replica of the shop on site at the after-party at the famed Roosevelt Hotel. Built out in a silver white color scheme that echoes the color of the metal, the shop housed nearly a million dollars’ worth of palladium jewelry from 15 different designers, brands, manufacturers, and retailers, at all price points.
Guests, talent, producers, executives, and others had a chance to window shop. Jennifer Coolidge (Two Broke Girls), Angela Kinsey (The Office), Kali Hawk (New Girl, Bridesmaids) and the Apatow girls, as well as the film's Chris O'Dowd, came to visit the Palladium Jewelry shop. Designers on display included William Goldberg, Jacob & Co, Todd Reed, Pamela Froman, Alishan, Sholdt, Michele Mercaldo, Zeghani, and Cynthia Renee. Styles on display ranged from pavé diamond and bezel-set gem pieces to simple bangle bracelets; intricate cuffs; chandelier earrings; chain, link, and mesh necklaces; industrial hammered pieces; cocktail rings; and long but lightweight disk and scarf necklaces.
Adding to the atmosphere of the party was the specialty cocktail of the night, aptly named "This is Palladium,” a classic Martini in the color of palladium.
Angela Kinsey finished her red carpet look for the "This is 40" premiere sponsored by Palladium Jewelry with lustrous palladium earrings by Sholdt that feature a diamond shape comprised of detailed circles with center diamonds and a palladium bracelet by Todd Reed, which includes autumn brilliant diamonds flush set down the center.
Reese Witherspoon, Kerry Washington in Sethi Couture
Los Angeles, CA--Actress Kerry Washington (top of page) wore Sethi Couture Rose Gold and Diamond Hoop Earrings while appearing on E!'s hit show "Chelsea Lately" on October 30, and actress Reese Witherspoon wore Sethi Couture's pink and white diamond floral earrings to a March of Dimes luncheon on December 7 in Beverly Hills.

Gold Designer H. Weiss At Golden Globes
Los Angeles, CA--Actress Tara Summer (left) was spotted wearing an H. Weiss gold ring during the Golden Globe Awards last year. She wore Weiss’s 14k Desert Gold ring, 38mm long, .20 ct. t.w. of diamonds, shown below right.
