Las Vegas, NV—Craving chocolate? Or are you more of a berry lover? Both are key trends for 2014, according to the annual Le Vian 2014 Red Carpet Revue fashion show, held Sunday during the JCK Show in Las Vegas.

The annual event, co-sponsored by Harper’s Bazaar magazine, also benefits Jewelers For Children. In his opening remarks, Le Vian president Eddie Le Vian promised a minimum of $150,000 donation to the charity, with additional funds matched from donations during the evening.

The evening featured celebrity guest hosts Giuliana and Bill Rancic of the Style Network reality show Giluliana and Bill, and Avril Graham of Harper’s Bazaar. Graham is executive fashion and beauty editor of the magazine, and in addition to their joint reality show, Bill Rancic is host of America Now and working on a home makeover show for Style Network, while Giuliana Rancic is the host of E! News and E!’s Fashion Police program.

These were the key trends that Le Vian predicts for 2014:

• The cushion will be the top gem shape. The firm’s own take is called the Cush’n Pillow.
• Le Vian’s choice for gemstone of the year is its trademarked Chocolate Quartz.
• In addition to the chocolate trend other color trends to look for include blue (both pale baby blue and darker azure blue shades), green, red, and deep berry tones. In the jeweler’s line, this will include its trademarked Ice Blue diamonds, Blueberry diamonds, Hunters’ Green tourmaline, Neon Tangerine fire opal, Blackberry diamonds, and Strawberry gold.
• Design trends to look for, says the jeweler, include links, gladiator knots, organic shapes, and florets (small flowers).
• The designer also predicts chocolate diamonds will trend for bridal jewelry.
