Centurion Launches First Annual Design Awards |  January 12, 2011 (0 comments)

Merrick, NY—Centurion has launched the 2011 Centurion Design Awards. The first annual exhibitor design competition will debut at this year's show set for January 30-February 1 in Tucson. The competition is sponsored by Chippenhook, which will provide displays for each entry; and Exhibit Managemenmt Corp. (EMC), which is designing the interior of the competition showcases and assisting Centurion in managing logistics.

Each Centurion exhibitor may enter one exemplary piece into the competition. All pieces will be on display for retailer voting during the Saturday and Sunday evening dinners at the Centurion Pavilion, beginning at 7:30 p.m.

Retailer attendees may cast one vote in each of 11 product categories, via confidential paper ballots. Winners will be announced at Centurion’s Tuesday night Finale Dinner Party, also at the Pavilion. Winners will receive crystal trophies and a specially-designed Centurion Design Competition Winner logo to use in their marketing materials throughout 2011. They also will be included in a post-show publicity press release.

Competition categories are as follows: Alternative Metals, Bridal, Colored Stone Classic, Colored Stone Fashion, Diamond Classic, Diamond Fashion, Gold, Pearl, Platinum, Sterling Silver, Watches.
