Centurion Names Winners In Design, Showcase, And Retail CompetitionsFebruary 02, 2016 (0 comments)
|Scottsdale, AZ—Twelve winners of the 2016 Centurion Design Awards were announced Monday evening during a gala dinner at the Centurion Scottsdale Show. The dinner, sponsored by The Knot, also honored the 2016 Showcase Awards and the 2016 Vendors’ Choice Retailer Awards. The Vendors’ Choice Retailer Awards are chosen by Centurion exhibitors, who vote for the retailers they deem most outstanding in several business areas.
The winners of the Vendors Choice Retail Awards were:
- Most Community Engaged Retailer, Tivol,Inc., Kansas City, MO
- Most Saviest Buyer, Be On Park, Winter Park, FL
- Best Merchandise Presentation, Cornell's Jewelers, Rochester, NY
- Best Digital Presence, Cornell's Jewelers
- Most Outstanding Retail Partner Of The Year, a three way tie between Montelongo's Fine Jewelry, College Station, TX; Shelter Wade Jewelers, San Antonio, TX; and Tivol Inc.

The Centurion Design Awards, now in its sixth year, are open to all Show exhibitors. Sponsored by Exhibit Management Corp. Bufkor, Artco Group, and Jewelers Mutual, the competition features entries in 12 categories, placed on display at the Show and voted on by attending retailers. The 2016 Centurion Design Awards winners in each category were:

Finally, a new award for Best Showcase Design among vendors also was announced. The winner was Tara Pearls (top of page), for a bridal theme incorporating real wedding cakes and pearls, with a humorous couple atop one cake.
The first runner-up was Rahaminov Diamonds; the second runner-up was Memoire.
