Chicago, IL--A local jewelry store was broken into early Saturday, police reportedly said. The crime was caught on surveillance video.

The burglary took place just after 1 a.m. Saturday at Adam’s Jewelry Center in the 3200 block of North Harlem Avenue in the Dunning neighborhood, ABC7 Chicago news reported, quoting police.

The suspect broke through the front door of the business and went directly to the display cases, smashing them with a hammer before getting away with tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of watches and jewelry, the news station reports.
