Corinth Jewelers’ Viral TikTok Draws Attention from Country Star Lainey Wilson February 27, 2025 (0 comments)

Corinth, MS--A TikTok from Corinth Jewelers has gone viral, drawing attention from Grammy Award-winning country music star Lainey Wilson. According to a Daily Corinthian report, the jewelry store's video, featuring employees Kim Lucas and Macy Jones, showcases a large diamond ring while referencing Wilson’s comments about engagement rings.
In the clip, Jones walks with a limp, assisted by Lucas, before raising her hand to reveal the ring. The video is set to Wilson’s song “4x4xU” and plays off an August interview in which Wilson joked she wanted an engagement ring so large she would “have to pick [her] arm up.”
Wilson, known for hits like “Whirlwind” and “Hang Tight Honey,” noticed the post and commented, “Don’t go swimming with that thing! [heart and laughing emojis] Congrats girl.” Corinth Jewelers’ Marketing Coordinator, Kristin Swindle, told Daily Corinthian that the store was shocked by the recognition. “Everybody was really excited, I mean it’s attention that we did not expect to get, but it's really cool,” she said.
The comment received over 800 likes, while the TikTok itself has amassed nearly half a million views and over 28,000 likes. Corinth Jewelers responded to Wilson’s comment, playfully offering to help “make that limp bigger” with a wedding band, referencing Wilson’s recent engagement to NFL quarterback Devlin “Duck” Hodges.
Swindle noted that the viral moment has already led to customer inquiries about the featured ring. She also highlighted the store’s strong social media presence, saying it allows customers to connect with employees before stepping into the store.
Lucas, who appeared in the video with Jones, said they had fun filming it together. “She thinks it’s really fun to put the old lady in the TikToks with her,” she joked.
Corinth Jewelers has hinted at more social media content in the works, aiming to build on the viral success.
