CRITICS’ CHOICE, PEOPLE’S CHOICE, YOUR CHOICE: MORE FROM THE RED CARPET January 26, 2012 (0 comments)
Los Angeles, CA—Michelle Williams sparkled in Fred Leighton for Forevermark at the 17th Annual Critics' Choice Movie Awards January 1. She wore bracelets featuring diamond clips set in platinum on a ribbon, and platinum and diamond stud earrings.
Also at the Critics’ Choice Awards, Charlize Theron wore Bvlgari’s platinum earrings with three princess-cut diamonds (4.17 carats).
Wendi McLendon-Covey, one of the leads in the Globe-nominated film “Bridesmaids,” wore a Le Vian necklace to the event. The 14k white gold necklace has more than 92 cts. of Blueberry Tanzanite, 2.74 cts. of diamonds, and 21 cts. of blue zircon.
Actor Stephen Bishop of Moneyball and actress Julie Benz of Dexter both wore Edward Mirell jewelry for the event. Bishop wore the designer’s cuff links and Benz wore his “Traves” earrings.

Starlets Kaley Cuoco and Miley Cyrus were decked out in Neil Lane for the People’s Choice Awards on January 11. Cuoco wore a platinum and diamond bracelet and chandelier earrings, and, in a later scene, she wore a platinum and diamond double-tiered necklace, bracelet, and rings. With her choices of a necklace and chandelier earrings—both of which were conspicuously absent on most other celebrities this year—is she missing the boat or early for the next trend? You decide if she’s a trendsetter or just standing out with a “big bang.”
Meanwhile, singer/actress Miley Cyrus was spot-on the minimalist trend with Lane’s platinum and five carat diamond stud earrings. Kelly Osbourne (E! News), meanwhile, went one up on Cyrus with Dena Kemp’s diamond studs set in palladium, 11.57 cts. t.w.. Or, maybe we should say she went 6.57 up on Cyrus—after all, if you’re going to go minimalist, you gotta make it big.
Also at the People’s Choice Awards was Julianne Hough in Todd Reed palladium: earrings and ring with both fancy and white diamonds.
The up-and-coming Jessica Chastain wore rubies and diamonds set in platinum at the "National Board of Review Awards Gala" in New York on January 10. She chose earrings with six carats of rubies and cushion cut diamonds, and a 9.6-ct. ruby cocktail ring, both by Harry Winston. She also wore Winston again for a recent appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman and at the premiere of Coriolanus in New York January 17. And she went to the Critics’ Choice Awards in palladium: Dena Kemp palladium black diamond studs with white diamond accents.
Downton Abbey’s Elizabeth McGovern went to the W magazine party in Simon G.’s palladium and diamond necklace and diamond floral bracelet, while actress Amber Heard wore a Le Vian Couture Chocolate Diamonds and Vanilla Diamonds bracelet in Strawberry Gold to The Art Of Elysium's 5th Annual Heaven Gala January 14 in Los Angeles.

Andrea Riseborough, Carla Gugino, and Jessica White all wore Forevermark jewelry to the January 23 New York City premiere of W.E., the Madonna-directed movie about Wallis Simpson, the American divorcee who became the Duchess of Windsor. Pieces worn included A. Link’s Bubble Collection cuff bracelet, Trau’s drop earrings, and a selection of Forevermark’s own line of jewelry.
