New York, NY--Roberto Coin, the Italian jewelry house, has announced actress and advocate Dakota Johnson as its new Global Brand Ambassador. This partnership, as per a news release, marks a significant development for the brand, which focuses on "bold storytelling and artistry."
Johnson, with a two-decade career in acting and a vocal stance on mental health awareness, reportedly embodies Roberto Coin's brand philosophy. Her role will commence with a global campaign in June 2025, continuing through May 2027. The campaign, photographed by Craig McDean, is set in Venice, a city with personal significance for Roberto Coin, the brand's founder, who was born there.
The news release highlighted Venice's "rich history, majestic architecture, and vibrant artistic culture" as long-standing influences on Coin's designs.
The campaign will feature Johnson adorned with pieces from several of Roberto Coin's notable collections, including Love in Verona, Venetian Princess, Navarra, Obelisco, Tiaré, and Cobra. The initiative will be released in two phases, with the initial launch in June 2025 and the second installment scheduled for May 2026. The full campaign is slated to run across global platforms until May 2027.
