New York, NY--David Yurman has launched a new men’s campaign featuring basketball players Carmelo Anthony and Jaylen Brown. According to the company’s news release, the campaign promotes the brand’s Curb Chain collection and was photographed by creative director Set Free Richardson.
The campaign includes scenes of Anthony playing pool with his son Kiyan Anthony, and Brown playing chess with his grandfather Willie Brown. The release states that these scenes aim to highlight themes of legacy and personal growth. Anthony was styled by Khalilah Beavers, while Brown was styled by Wayman & Micah.
In the announcement, Anthony described the collection as blending “craftsmanship and timelessness.” Brown stated that jewelry is “a statement” and praised the designs for allowing personal expression.
David Yurman President Evan Yurman said the athletes were selected for their influence on and off the court. The campaign will appear on the brand’s social media channels and in advertising throughout the year.
