NEENAH, WI--Jewelers Mutual Group is hosting an industry-led panel as part of its year-long education sponsorship of the “Love & Marriage” exhibition at the Louisville-based Frazier History Museum.
The panel will take place on November 6 during the museum’s special event, “Is This Love That I’m Feeling” celebrating the museum’s Davis Jewelers “Love & Marriage” exhibition.
As part of the evening’s programming, Jewelers Mutual will present “Brilliance & Beyond,” a panel discussion exploring traditional engagement and jewelry trends that remain popular today. The panel is moderated by Emili Vesilind, Jewelers Mutual’s jewelry trends expert and editor-in-chief of Gem + Jewel magazine. Panelists are:
Shahla Karimi, jewelry designer known for her modern yet timeless creations and celebrity clientele
Ashley Davis, vice president of Davis Jewelers, a Louisville family-owned business since the 1920s
Becky Stone, jewelry writer, editor, and influential voice behind “Diamonds in the Library.”
Panelists will explore the artistry, emotion and meaning behind jewelry—touching on iconic engagement styles, celebrity proposals, shopping smart, and protecting your most cherished pieces.
In addition to the panel discussion, here will be relationship-themed game show, complimentary welcome cocktails, whiskey tastings by Mary Dowling Whiskey Co., shopping, fashion experiences, jewelry cleaning, and the opportunity to win a 14k white gold curved bar diamond necklace from Davis Jewelers, with a retail value of $2,995. The museum’s “Love & Marriage” exhibition will also be open, highlighting the traditions, symbols, and craftsmanship that shape the celebration of commitment through jewelry and ceremony.
