New York, NY—Diamonds Do Good’s third Virtual Global Conversation, set for March 11, will address how increasing diversity and inclusion in a company is good for that company's business.

Led by Sally Morrison, De Beers’ PR director of natural diamonds and a cofounder of DDG, the discussion will include both key American retailers from both the luxury and mass-market sectors, and leading international designers of color.

Offering the American luxury retail perspective will be Jennifer Gandia (top image), co-owner at Greenwich St. Jewelers, a leading independent jewelry store in Soho, New York City. Kecia Caffie, senior vice president and general manager at the Piercing Pagoda division of Signet will offer the mass-market jewelry perspective. Gandia and Caffie will be joined by designers Lola Oladunjoye of Paris-based Lola Fenhirst, Roxanne Rajcoomar-Hadden of London-based RRH Jewelry, and Lorraine West of Brooklyn-based Lorraine West Jewelry.

Rebecca Foerster, president of both Diamonds Do Good and Alrosa USA, will kick off the event with an in-depth interview with key governmental leaders of Botswana, one of the world’s top diamond-producing nations. Foerster will chat with His Excellency Onkokame Kitso Mokaila, Botswana Ambassador to the United States; Mmetla Masire, Permanent Secretary Ministry of Mineral Resources, Green Technology and Energy; and Botswana-based designer Boitshoko Kebakile of House of Divinity.

The event will take place March 11, from 11 a.m. to noon online. Attendance is free, although donations to support Diamonds Do Good’s beneficiaries are greatly welcomed. Donations of $50 or more will receive a Thank You gift. To make a donation click here.
