According to an Instagram post by Elliott Jewelers, the founder initially utilized handwritten correspondence to build a local client base. The early expansion of the shop was supported by reinvested profits and income from a beauty salon operated by the founder's wife, Shirley Elliott.
The post noted that the second generation of the family took over the business in 2002. John Elliott, a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America, currently owns and operates the store alongside his wife, Shelly.
The company has since integrated a third generation of the family with the addition of Maranda, who holds a graduate gemologist credential. The retailer maintains a service reputation across the Tri-State region and intends to hold several public anniversary events later this year.
In the post, the retailer asked followers to watch for upcoming celebration events.
