Hollywood, CA— The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, held last Sunday evening, were awash in famous faces wearing jewelry from many of the industry's well-known companies. No longer the exclusive domain of the great jewelry houses, stylists who dress the stars for the awards shows like the Emmys and the Oscars have significantly increased the representation of jewelry that mere mortals also can own just by visiting their family jeweler. Here were some of this year's red carpet-to-reality choices:

Kaley Cuoco, who stars in the CBS smash hit Big Bang Theory, wore a Doves by Doron Paloma ring from the Royal Lapis collection to the Entertainment Weekly pre-Emmy party on Sunday. The ring features royal blue lapis lazuli and diamonds in 18K rose gold, retail, $3,000. Yvonne Strahovski of Showtime’s Dexter wore a Doves ring from the Gothica collection, featuring black and white diamonds in 18K white gold; retail $10,960.

Actress Jane Krakowski wore Wendy Yue carved turquoise earrings and a carved turquoise rose ring (below) to the Emmys.

Actress Zosia Mamet (below left) wore a Le Vian diamond bracelet, Demarco diamond ring (below center), and (on her left ear) diamond stud earrings (below right) valued at more than $250,000 by Norman Silverman at the Emmys.

Actress Sarah Silverman performed at the 65th Primetime Emmy Awards in an embellished gold mini dress and a matching 18k gold and diamond Lola ring by Erica Courtney. Emmy nominated actress Alfre Woodard wore Courtney’s jewelry both to the ceremony and other Emmy-related events. She wore platinum and diamond amethyst drop earrings with a matching platinum and diamond amethyst Madeline ring at the BAFTA-TV party, and at the awards themselves accessorized her evening gown with platinum and diamond fancy Morganite drop earrings on Mary marquis hoops and a platinum and diamond imperial pink topaz pillow top ring.

Actress Brooke Burke-Charvet wore a diamond version of Antonini’s Aurea cuff, with 577 diamonds set in white gold. She also wore Le Vian black and white diamond rings and Katerina Maxine carved jade earrings. The actress, dancer, model and television personality is best known for her stints on Dancing with the Stars, both as a participant and host.

Carla Gugino wore Norman Silverman marquise cut diamond hoop earrings, diamond bracelets and diamond rings valued at more than $2 million to the Emmys.

Taylor Schilling wore Jorge Adeler’s 14k gold Rock Candy ring with cleaved citrine and diamonds to Emmy Awards. The ring is from Adeler’s Spring 2014 collection.

Platinum jewelry was a favorite choice for a number of celebrities attending the Emmys and related parties on Sunday night. Some famous names in platinum include Christine Saransky and Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey’s Lady Mary Crawley) in Fred Leighton, Morgan Saylor in Kwiat, Julie Bowen in Jacob & Co., while Neil Lane dressed actresses Claire Danes, Lena Dunham, Malin Akerman, Sarah Paulson, Aubrey Plaza, Ellen Burstyn, Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara, and Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss. The favored look for platinum was vintage, especially Deco.
