Emmy-Night Jewelry From Doves, Antonini, Norman Silverman, Rahaminov, Le Vian, Forevermark, MoreSeptember 25, 2013 (0 comments)
|Hollywood, CA— The 65th Primetime Emmy Awards, held last Sunday evening, were awash in famous faces wearing jewelry from many of the industry's well-known companies. No longer the exclusive domain of the great jewelry houses, stylists who dress the stars for the awards shows like the Emmys and the Oscars have significantly increased the representation of jewelry that mere mortals also can own just by visiting their family jeweler. Here were some of this year's red carpet-to-reality choices:
Kaley Cuoco, who stars in the CBS smash hit Big Bang Theory, wore a Doves by Doron Paloma ring from the Royal Lapis collection to the Entertainment Weekly pre-Emmy party on Sunday. The ring features royal blue lapis lazuli and diamonds in 18K rose gold, retail, $3,000. Yvonne Strahovski of Showtime’s Dexter wore a Doves ring from the Gothica collection, featuring black and white diamonds in 18K white gold; retail $10,960.

Emmy nominated actress Alfre Woodard wore Courtney’s jewelry both to the ceremony and other Emmy-related events. She wore platinum and diamond amethyst drop earrings with a matching platinum and diamond amethyst Madeline ring at the BAFTA-TV party, and at the awards themselves accessorized her evening gown with platinum and diamond fancy Morganite drop earrings on Mary marquis hoops and a platinum and diamond imperial pink topaz pillow top ring.

Platinum jewelry was a favorite choice for a number of celebrities attending the Emmys and related parties on Sunday night. Some famous names in platinum include Christine Saransky and Michelle Dockery (Downton Abbey’s Lady Mary Crawley) in Fred Leighton, Morgan Saylor in Kwiat, Julie Bowen in Jacob & Co., while Neil Lane dressed actresses Claire Danes, Lena Dunham, Malin Akerman, Sarah Paulson, Aubrey Plaza, Ellen Burstyn, Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara, and Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss.
