Merrick, NY--As the pre-Christmas shopping season comes to a close, jewelers continue to reach out to their clients, friends and communities via social media. As far as sheer numbers go, prestige jewelers generally prefer Facebook, but they also are present on Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram.

Following is a quick look at prestige jewelers' last-minute Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram posts over the past week. Even if the Christmas holiday is almost over--though there's always that surprise after-Christmas sale--these ideas are good to tweak to use for Valentine's Day and other 2014 holidays. 

 

 

Twitter. A surprisingly high number of prestige jewelers had not updated their Twitter accounts in several months (a few in more than a year), but below is a small sampling of current tweets. A couple had vendors and customers speaking out:
