New York, NY--Gerald Peters, a family-owned jewelry business, will open a new location at 1461 Richmond Road, Staten Island, in spring 2025.

"This has been a dream for our family for decades and it is finally becoming a reality," Peter Amerosi, vice president of Gerald Peters, shared on LinkedIn. "We cannot wait to share all the updates with you!"
Established in 1982 in Brooklyn's Caesar's Bay Bazaar by Jerry Amerosi Sr., the company began as Goldmine, focusing initially on children's charms. The business was later renamed Gerald Peters after Amerosi's two sons, coinciding with its expansion to a freestanding location on 18th Avenue in Brooklyn in 1992. In 1996, the store relocated to the Staten Island Mall.
Over the years, Gerald Peters has tripled the size of its Staten Island Mall store and doubled its brand offerings. This included introducing high-end brands exclusive to Gerald Peters and expanding its bridal jewelry selection.
