Giving Tree Gallery Reports December Sales Tripled After Storm Recovery December 30, 2025 (0 comments)
Sarasota, FL--Giving Tree Gallery on St. Armands Circle in Sarasota recorded December sales three times higher than the same month last year, according to Spectrum News.

Owner Deb Goldberg said the improvement follows a difficult 2024, when Hurricanes Helene and Milton left extensive damage across the area.
The report stated that five feet of water entered the business during last year's storms, destroying approximately $70,000 worth of inventory. Although the store reopened roughly a month later, Goldberg said the wider commercial district struggled with the perception that it remained closed, with only about 30% of businesses operating early in the year.
This December has brought stronger customer traffic, with notable day-to-day variability, the report noted. Goldberg expects the final week of the year — between Christmas and New Year’s — to be among the busiest for the store.
Looking ahead, Goldberg said she aims for at least 10% year-over-year growth in 2026.
