Maryland, WA--Gorjana, a jewelry brand known for its laid-back and casual yet fine jewelry styles, will open a new store in Montgomery Village this summer.

The upcoming location marks the brand's first boutique between Marin and Portland and its northernmost store in California.

Gorjana was founded in 2004 by Jason and Gorjana Reidel in Southern California. They initially fulfilled jewelry orders from their living room and sold their collections at local markets and craft fairs before opening their first storefront in Laguna Beach in 2017. The brand has since expanded to over 40 locations nationwide, with 20 in California.

Lena Kubler, the Northern California regional manager for Gorjana, said that the company is excited to bring its products, styling, and customer service to Santa Rosa, particularly its level of service in the store. The Corte Madera location is currently the closest store to Santa Rosa, but the Montgomery Village location will offer customers an even closer option.

The brand is dedicated to helping customers create a full look that works with their everyday style and encourages layering multiple pieces. The new store is the fifth new business to be announced since WS Development, a Massachusetts-based company, acquired the Santa Rosa shopping space in 2021.
