Little Rock, AR--The “Heart of Arkansas” brooch, a jewelry piece featuring a diamond mined in the state and worn by Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders at the presidential inauguration in January, is now on display at Sissy’s Log Cabin’s Little Rock Heights location. According to AY Magazine, the brooch was designed by a team at Sissy’s Log Cabin and will be available as a display piece for future governors and first ladies.

The brooch features a 4.87-carat natural, uncut diamond from Arkansas’ Crater of Diamonds State Park, surrounded by 365 diamonds in various shapes, sizes, and hues. The total diamond weight is 16.22 carats, all set in 18K yellow gold. A hidden sapphire on the back represents Sissy’s Log Cabin’s commitment to craftsmanship, AY Magazine reported.
Master jeweler Christo Kiffer, who worked on the project, described it as a unique opportunity. “To be part of this process, where we are enhancing a natural treasure to be enjoyed for generations, is an extraordinary experience both personally and professionally,” he said, as cited by AY Magazine.
The brooch took over 100 hours to craft, and Sissy’s Log Cabin owner and CEO Bill Jones emphasized its significance to the state. “This custom creation truly encompasses the heart of Arkansas, from the locally mined diamond to the carefully handcrafted details,” he said.
The piece is now available for public viewing at Sissy’s Log Cabin in Little Rock Heights.
