YORK, United Kingdom--Hill & Co., a diamond, gemstone, and jewelry industry consulting firm, has promoted Amy Curran to the role of director of Strategic Initiatives.

Curran joined Hill & Co. in 2021 and brings more than four decades of experience in fine jewelry, with a background that spans luxury retail, merchandising, sourcing, education and strategy consulting. In her new role, she will oversee key long-range projects across the company, acting as a strategic partner to the executive team and supporting clients on their most mission-critical growth initiatives.

Curran played a pivotal role in the creation of “The List,” Hill & Co.’s GDPR-compliant, AI-powered directory of verified B2B decision-makers, their contact details and requirements, across the global jewelry supply chain. It was launched earlier this year.

“Amy has been instrumental in shaping every facet of The List,” said Elle Hill, founder & CEO of Hill & Co. “From decision-maker segmentation and data quality standards to the functionality and use-case design, she’s shaped The List with the same precision and empathy she’s brought to her entire career. This promotion is both recognition and a next step—we’re building what’s next with Amy leading the charge.”

Curran began her career with a degree in Geological Sciences and quickly transitioned into retail leadership, rising from customer service management to vice president of Merchandising at a $150-million fine jewelry retailer. After launching her own consulting firm, she continued to guide major players across the diamond, gemstone and jewelry sectors. She is also a past GIA Alumni chapter board member; has been an RJ and longtime member of the AGS; and is a longtime member of the WJA, where she served as education chair for the Metro chapter."

“We built The List to remove guesswork and wasted outreach, to give businesses what they truly need: accurate, relevant, high-quality business intelligence,” Curran said. “To help shape something this powerful from the inside has been a privilege. I’m thrilled to continue developing and improving it in this new role.”
