Hyde Park Jewelers Introduces Rutilated Quartz to Its Collection August 03, 2022 (0 comments)
New York, NY--Hyde Park Jewelers couldn't contain their excitement while introducing a certain kind of quartz to their collection.

"How fun are these stones?" the store remarked in a Facebook post where it shared several images of Rutilated quartz.
"These gemstones have little threads of rutile needles in the stone," the post said, adding that rutile was an "eye-catching and unique" oxide mineral composed of titanium dioxide.

The post noted that no two stones are the same — some stones also have a black Onyx or Lapis background, which brings out the look of the thread.
The post was accompanied by several images of the quartz in threads of at least two colors.
