Los Angeles, CA--This obituary was provided by Guy Benhamou and Andy Concool, former long-time colleagues of Julie's.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Julie Moreno Franco after a long battle with cancer.

Julie started in the industry at Oroamerica  in 1982 and worked her way up to to eventually become the Sales Manager of the Wholesale Division. Later she rejoined forces with Guy Benhamou (former owner of Oroamerica) at Charles Garnier and became Vice President of Sales.

Julie will be always remembered for her insatiable enthusiasm and great, warm personality. She always lit up a room wherever she went. Her smile was contagious and she always brought her A game.

She was known by almost everyone in the industry and will be sorely missed by everyone she touched.

May the four winds blow you safely home. Please celebrate Julie’s life with hugs and love for your family as she did.

Thank you for writing about my sister Julie Franco. She was an amazing sister. Warm personality, always had a big smile and loved by all.
Oro America was a big part of her life. She loved her job!

She was the best mother to sons Stephen, Domenic. Julie has joined her daughter Breonda in heaven.

So sad to hear this news about Julie. She would light up the room whenever she entered. That’s what I will remember.

I met Julie in 1997 at OroAmerica. She was the friendliest person there! Her bright smile always lit up the room. What a beautiful person, inside and out.
I am so saddened to hear of her passing. Sending love and prayers to her family.
