Spring Valley, NY—Kenneth David (Ken) Fishman died Sunday following a battle with leukemia. He was 68.

Fishman was a longtime sales representative in the jewelry industry, with many friends and customers around the country. He began his career 43 years ago with Superior Chain and worked for other key brands such as Citizen and North American Watch, Nicole and, for the past 24 years, Christopher Designs. Christopher Slowinski, namesake designer and leader of the company, said, “Ken Fishman was a part of the Christopher Designs [team] for the past 24 years. He was a good, honest, hardworking man and he had a good sense of humor. We are all going to miss you. Rest in peace.”

Doug Gollan, luxury industry expert, wrote on Facebook, “He was a true gentleman and will be missed in the industry.” Added Lloyd Berger, “I am saddened to hear about the passing of a friend and colleague I had great respect for and shared many a laughs with through the decades.”

Fishman is survived by his wife, Marsha; two sons, Matthew and Russell; a daughter-in-law, and two grandchildren.
